Remove carpet, bleach sub floor, wipe down wall.

I recently bought a duplex with tenants living in it.

Now some pipes are hidden in walls and there is no way of knowing if they cracked.

I personally feel they are significantly harder to cash flow than a small multifamily like a duplex. 

Has anyone ever taken the route of buying land and having a duplex built?

Hi, Sometimes I come across a property that is zoned as mixed use, such as a duplex which can be used as an office and as a residential home. 

If you dont already have a house and family that is.I have an old guy I offered to Option his duplexes for 3 years,  consideration payable to the county for his property taxes in 6 installments.

So I bought an inhabited duplex with FHA financing intending to get both sides to leave so I could renovate both sides.

I closed on my duplex last year in MA, and I'm living in one unit and renting the other out.
