Honestly I think I'm subconsciously worried about getting too comfortable in the military, or well paying day job, that I give up on my dreams.

I actually have more handymen/contractors than work I feel comfortable spending cash on. 

How long will you have to carry that extra mortgage, based on your language you are not comfortable with it for a prolonged period.2.
