I'll have to look up that tax code, but the IRS code says that you can rent out your home to a business for 14 days and not report the profits.It's amazing what can be tax deductible.......but the initial reason for my original post was to ask about whether or not I'll need an entity to do a Double Close transaction.

Ok, I agree it has served me well with the few I've done and allowed me to quit my day job with income left over to save a tad monthly based on a very modest lifestyle.I have been fortunate to have great tenants, amazing even, with just 1 that was a nuisance to the other roommates and I was able to get rid of with minimal cost. ( Mark you, this tenant I didnt completly vet except for the background and credit checks, then handed him over to someone else to complete the process).

If the judge is a woman, it's even more likely that she's priced cheap peel-and-stick vinyl tile.Since the average bathroom is 50-100 ft2, unless your estimate is less than $100, selling the estimate to an unsympathetic judge is still going to be hard.
