To have a proper support system, you may find that you will need to create a footer to an appropriate depth beneath the column that you install.The structural engineer would be the best one to advise you, and the fee should cost no more than what your home inspector charged IMO.

The procedure that we would use was:to remove- sawzall or grind the legs off.To install- remove the legs and then shim after it slid in.

From what little knowledge I do have of wholesalers, I feel like you guys buy at some percent beneath wholesale value, then sell to an investor at wholesale value who then sells the property at retail value.
