Brew City - best atmosphere for networking which is the most valuable in my opinion with a great mix of newbies and veterans as well as buy and hold, flippers, SFR, Multi-Family investors etc. so most well rounded group to network with. 

@Eric W.I can't give you veteran advice as i'm still a newbie myself in the Realtor world, but the office i work out of has a handful of part time Realtors that work and the way they cash in to make extra money and grow their SOI is by doing the Open Houses for the listing agents and occasional buyer leads they pick up from the open houses.

I am 29 yrs, an Army Veteran just getting out about a year ago Nov. 2015 (served 4 years), Married with a baby girl.

You'll meet a lot of beginners and veterans, plus you'll be able to ask the instructors as many questions as you want.

However, you need to be a veteran to obtain a VA loan which I believe you can purchase for $0 down.

My situation is kinda unique as I have non taxable income (Veterans Disabilty) so taking the deductions wont do anything for me as far as reducing taxes.

I love real estate.I work in sales and all my real estate experience has been passed down to me by my mother, a 25 year veteran in the industry.You will often find me reading, working, or making music!
