Will banks/portfolio lenders be open to financing a student?

Having never lived on my own I was reluctant, but figured I could use the extra income to help pay off my student loans.

Unfortunately, my student loans have really depleted my savings.

With payments paused, I have not paid a dime of student loans yet.

But they are nervous that could happen at any moment and our intentions have always been to sell the home or keep it and move sister in-law out and rent it out to college students since the home is 3 blocks away from a well-known university.
