It really just depends on your level of comfort with risk while you grow your portfolio.

. #1, the money is pretty good and will allow us to scale up our rental portfolio faster. #2, the work-life balance is great and I technically only work half the year and while at work I have a ton of down time.

Right now we are living in a condo that we owe $77k on a $93k 15 year mortgage (about 3 years in) at a 4.125% interest rate no PMI (we got a portfolio loan that we put 3% down on).

This forces me to purchase rentals in a portfolio type situation through local bank.
