Tenants that are that unreasonable (coming in with 2 big dogs and then having the audacity to ask for you to replace their carpet after a year) scare me.

Don't let the taxes scare you away...what are the rents on it?

My client's wife flew in to see it and she was scared cause it looked like it needed a lot of work.

I graduated with a degree in construction management from the University of Washington, and I actually use my degree every day.I am a health and fitness nut and I love CrossFit, met my boyfriend at CrossFit, and coach part time.

The dreaded words the plumbing does not hold pressure scares off most of the owner occupant buyers. 

If they were served, that means they are actually the owner and are just lying about it to scare away any potential buyers, correct?

I think it would allow me to assess properties better, know if jobs are being done right, help me learn how to estimate total repair costs, know when something needs* to be done due to the former condition being dangerous and/or illegal, learn what health hazards to look for, and get first hand experience at what all is involved in construction.

I am aware that damage caused by a tree on another property is my responsibility if limbs are hanging over on my side but in this case the entire tree fell and I don't see how I am responsible to monitor the health of a tree that is city property. 

Because I grew up next door (and estate agents aren't always discrete) we discovered that the access land owner is likely a near neighbour who may have bought the land specifically in order to eventually get a good deal on this property by scaring off other potential buyers and pushing the price down.

I know I want to invest in real estate but I feel apprehensive being the sole provider for two kids and after seeing how impacted my business was with covid I’m scared to risk my savings, although covid was all the more reason I need to build some stability for my children.
