Its always good to see fellow new investors taking the effort and introducing themselves!

However I would argue that anyone serious about FIRE, has become even more serious about it once they witness a global pandemic like this that can suddenly cause serious financial stress on the entire world. 

You should definitely be calling them yourself as you will put in more effort than any hired cold caller.

Effort will equal results!  

Typically runs a few hundred buck each year.Regardless of your flavor of Kool-Aid, global warming is real and insurance actuarials calculate the probability of flooding. 

The reality is, most people who make those kinds of excuses simply do not want to put in any time/effort or be uncomfortable, even for a short time.

That being said, for your first effort I would recommend starting local.
