I lean towards what @Solomon said.

I did give them a quick letter stating just that, I was leaning towards getting them all out as you suggested just form hearing all the horror stories on here about inherited tenants.  

In lean times tighten your belt you will learn so much and have so many opportunities when things get better.

@Quinton Bogle I agree with the above post that you should absolutely lean on local investors.  

Most military families take advantage of being in between duty stations to take vacations because of the relative lack of job responsibilities, and as another poster mentioned, there may also be short term schools/trainings/etc. that are technically not PCS (permanent change of station) but TDY (temporary duty) that are sandwiched in between the duty stations for convenience.
