Starting your own business is a huge gamble, most fail quickly.....The only RE I ever did that was 'relatively easy'  is STRs....but still, high risk, hard work, all day every day.....

I can recommend a few books based on the strategy and the niche chosen.

Not sure on the income requirement.. in the states as long as your paying tax on gambling winnings you can be a professional gambler and use that income for loan purposes.WElcome to BP.. hope you make some great connections here.

I have not chosen a realtor yet but I will definitely bring this up when I do.

We have chosen to form an LLC for the three of us.

This means the title company has already been “chosen”. 2.I’m not sure what went wrong through the process as auction.com agents seems to be clueless.

@Rich S.We rent b, c and d class properties and have chosen to retain my d class properties but not buy anymore.

Once chosen, I have a good idea what to look for though I'd rather have a decent general idea before I start investing too much time and effort in the research.

That said I think there's some gambling going on.

Not sure why anyone is surprised that STR financing is tightening up.Hotels and gambling are hardest hit during recessions.
