This is supposed to be a deterrent to crime and vandalism as it allows law enforcement to write citations for entering.The code people are just doing their job, which usually has nothing to do with a true assessment of habitability or whether or not the problems can be remediated or repaired.

She was willing to show me her passport and said the reason for her not having US driving licence is while she waits for her immigration papers she can continue to drive using Mexican licence (I checked online, it seems true).

It takes a bunch of time to build a network of verified buyers who are serious and can get deals done.Of course the price is often a little lower than what sellers want but of course also you have true buyers and not pretenders reading this no money down stuff.The pretenders always get sellers cranked up and excited about a high price.

In the case of true mentoring, it would be a fair deal for them to be compensated for their time, etc., and @Dell Schlabach seems to have found a fair balance.My problem is more with the gurus that charge people an arm and a leg and have no real personal investment in their success.

Well, if he will give you long term financing with nothing down, you can use that to buy the property.As far as rehab funds:- credit cards- borrow from friends and family- get a credit card at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.- borrow from a 401k- borrow against other property you own- sell somethingWhat's your plan?
