Im sure its unavoidable at times since things can happen last minute but whats the industry standard for verifying a property is still on track to be auctioned a day or two before the scheduled date?

I would recommend either calling them up or going to the website and checking out the general process for landlords as well as requesting an inspection checklist so you already know what they're going to be looking for. 

It needs to be downslope from your house and a good distance (10 yards in my estimation but check your local codes).

What you have here is your standard Section 8 duplex in one of Cleveland's many ghetto neighborhoods. 

Check connections, make sure everything is still attached correctly, but it should be a very, very cheap fix.

@Marissa SladeIn terms of areas to check out in Cleveland, I would take a look at areas on the West Side of Cleveland like West Blvd, Cudell, Old Brooklyn, Clark Fulton, Edgewater, Jefferson, and Brooklyn Centre.

Yes, site built homes should have glued down sub floors, too, but often don't because no one is there to check & they know the house will never fly down the road & have to be picked up by a crane, etc...

To run the background check, credit, etc. do I just need an id?
