What do you mean that dog training skills have nothing to do with tenants, BTW?

If they seem un-organized or shady, they will be the same when you are an owner   entrusting them with your property .  

If indeed the property requires a wall, then it would be great if the GC has the skills etc to do the work to the required standard.Many thanks!

I'm organizing a joint venture with 5 partners to purchase a single-family home outside the GTA. 2 will qualify for the mortgage (personally) and have their names on title.

@Jason Rector,My answer would be that you can rail against the system or make it work to your advantage.Depending on your skills as a negotiator, your portfolio may eventually reach the size where you can negotiate a fee based structure rather than percentages.

Yes, the experience as a retail manager taught me a lot of valuable skills, but at its core, it did not resonate within me.
