Would consider adding stone/brick pavers, concrete or doing a wood platform.

Hi @Sarah Good you don't have your home state listed in your profile so impossible to say what the laws are in your neck of the woods, but check your local state court sites.

Left deep grooves in the hard wood floors.These neighborhoods on the east side have been high crime areas for a long time, and might be better left to the professionals until the crime is driven out farther down MLK.

Rehab included adding a full bathroom on the second floor, new kitchen base cabinets and sink, restored plaster walls, full interior paint job, repaired porches, new furnace, new flooring, hard wood floor restoration and electrical rewire.

I've got 2 properties in Norfolk, and (knock on wood) I'm not having problems.

I'm not sure if the corresponding zoning department is open in your neck of the woods, but get confirmation from them immediately.

I personally would not buy this sight unseen.
