Unless you're in the business of evicting tenants without giving them a reason, then your business shouldn't be effected.

It depends on property, the negotiated deal and the business plan for that particular building.

For those landlords who take security deposits in City of Chicago, is a separate business bank account sufficient for the security deposit or do I still need to set up the special landlord account that requires all W-9 paperwork from tenants etc?

I know some tourist locations are cracking down on how many short term rentals are allowed... does anyone have some insight into the current outlook in Tahoe?

It's not a code violation however I don't think they allow you to bury them underground anymore.  

I want to add that this rental business is for vacation rentals/short-term, rather than long term rentals.
