I was able to learn about acquisition, renovations, project management, furnishing a short-term rental, using property management software, and lowering our cost of living compared to renting.

Not emotional goals like becoming financially independent, or quitting the Rat Race.

Get real clear on your goal.

Many have broken links, dated information, or just loop back into their department homepage, thus making it rather difficult to achieve the whole goal of having tax sales in the first place!

The key is your local market must align with your goals and timeline.

My plan was to acquire a property through owner financing, and find someone whose goals align with what I'm trying to accomplish and have them cover the down payment.
