I did the coursework to get my RE license at Keller Williams and liked the team atmosphere there and focus on developing agents, but commission splits were more favorable to part-time investors like myself at brokerages like Fairfax Realty and Samson.

On flipping, you constantly look for deals, but on being a developer, you can find a good land one day and be busy 3-4 years.

I take in a lot of videos mostly youtube, and attend meetings as I think it is critical to develop the correct mindset, and to network with succesful people, as well as, others learning, and eager like I am.  

I still have that property today and it continues to cash flow quite nicely.

Sure it will comp nicely to the guy 1 street over, but the subject street is a POS...I would assume that in and of itself would impede the sale greatly after repairs....but I'm not sure...thought's....experiences...????

Some are just nice mid-range apartments and some are upper end.

There will be lending specialists (residential and commercial), student housing specialist (CEO of Redstone development), financial advisor speaking on CRT's, and myself training on maximizing profits with Multifamily investments.

Start off nice and easy, and get your feet wet before swinging for the fences.
