It seems counterintuitive, but logic and reason seem to be seldomly used as the driving force behind decisions for Landlord-tenant legal disputes out here.

If your tenant's logic were flipped around then they wouldn't have a lease because the property sold.

Those are not logical assumptions at this point and not factors at this time to base your business decisions on.

My logic states get the interest rate as low as possible.

That's the main benefit to him, and he needs to see the bigger picture if he wants to sell it.On the other hand, he can turn the same logic back on you and say that you don't buy it without the 10% LTV second, and the bigger picture to you is making the acquisition.
