its hard for most builders to amass enough equity .. many end up doing it but it takes volume and years if your just doing a few at a time I flat will guarantee all profits go to life style and his personal over head.. not to savings.. some builders do not need outside capital others do..

Kids, jobs, careers, health, hobbies etc. 4) Lifestyle choice - I know 95% of my friends who have invested a huge part of their wealth in large plush opulent homes that has left limited bandwidth to invest elsewhere as they prefer to invest in the primary home either via improvements or paying additional mortgage!

We are now planning to buy homes in Midwest in  B Class neighborhoods so we can compare and decide what class of neighborhood we are most comfortable with.Since all 4 of us have jobs, investing in Real Estate  is primarily to generate enough passive income to fund our lifestyle and then go full time with investing and eventually retire from our jobs :-)  I hope I can network with other awesome folks on this site and learn a thing or two about investing in Real Estate.
