So what you are stating as that you intend to buy that property with the intent of holding long term (more than one year) for productive investment use (renting it).

Also, ask your parents to put you as an authorized user on their credit card (so you can build history - assuming your parents have good credit).

Trustpilot isn't trustworthy since they literally recycle reviews and there was the same user who gave few wildly different stories. 

A lot of the comps have to be interpreted, because some of the properties are user space. 

You are certainly in the right place to learn how to use real estate as a vehicle to do that, but sometimes it is tough to get your family on board with your plan.
