As someone who comes from a software/data background, I simply to do not believe that multiple offers "just happen" on homes that have sat for weeks/months AND there was no price drop to trigger interest. 

@Carmelita Sritragool I would advise against a highly distressed asset for your first multifamily deal.

I think you would not have to hire an Agent to help you but doing that would give you good representation and possibly be an asset for your desire to get the right property.
