At or after the auction you need to do a title search and understand what other liens and encumberances might be attached to the property. 

For example if they mail their checks I immediately got a PO Box so people do not know where I live

Additionally, my AC project needed some steam pipes moves, but because they were a plumbing and AC company, they were able to handle all of this (steam was too close to breaker boxes).If you have an older home you may have more electrical work needed than you think.

@Marlin Helsel - I am not sure of your exact location, but if I could give you one piece of advice for meeting people, it would be this.Go to the Nav Bar > "Network" > "Members" Search for members in your area and message them asking to meet for coffee to just chat real estate.

I would recommend if you are looking for a place to enjoy for yourself in addition to reducing rental income, then just search in an area you enjoy, like SC.You already know the area, you know how much people are paying for rentals in that area, and you know what makes a good rental based on what you enjoy.

I get that you have equity and that’s valuable, but I just can’t seem to get my head around the numbers side of it - An example would be best, so if there’s a thread with this already I’d love to see it but I can’t search on the app!
