I have an offer on a property I am developing, and I am wondering if there is a way to keep my ultra-low property taxes via Prop 90 (CA prop to transfer basis to replacement home).

Well he sent me the bill and receipts and also stated that the bathroom faucet broke and drain line need to be replaced and billed me a extra $100 for parts and labor to repair that which we NEVER discussed or if there was even an issue.

It was shown many times and people were scared away by the smell (fixed by removing and replacing old carpet) and some other things (new roof, appliances, paint, etc.).

I would clean out the junk in the pole shed, clean the interior, repaint a neutral color, replace carpet and other light rehab tasks.

That is, they would then own the Note and Deed of Trust or Mortgage made between you and the rehabber, and would then collect the 14% payments.This could be accomplished with a simple straight note between you and your lender with a clause that says, in effect, if you default, they get to replace their name with yours on your loan docs to the rehabber.
