They also have a pulse on who in the area has successful property management businesses (maybe themselves)3) Search direct booking sites in your area on google like "Vacation Rentals In Allentown" and see if websites pop up that are not airbnb or Vrbo you could reach out on.

When they look online and ask for info it sends them to a buyers agent.

I sold my San Jose rentals years ago so not up to speed on eviction laws.

I've come across platforms like mykey, HomeAway, and TurnKey Vacation Rentals.

Honestly, you should have just stopped at Facebook.There’s nothing quite like receiving an unsolicited online message, random proof of funds, complicated background story, sketchy work locations, and a foreign accent to scream scam any more loudly.

If I were to go this route it would be a midterm primary (3-5 years) and then be converted to STR or normal rental property after that.
