Like @Mehran K. indicated, FHA financing will require you live in one unit, presumably the 1/1 unit as you are a young guy, which, if already rented to a tenant for a year, will will be an obstacle in obtaining FHA financing, as it is a primary requirement for such a loan.

Also be sure to adequately capitalize your LLC from the beginning, and don't guarantee the debts of your LLC with your personal assets to a bank or other creditor, because that also may mitigate the protections inherent in an LLC.

Even if it means not paying off the car loan.The way I look at this: If you house hack and do it effectively(I am including house hacking in here even though you didn't bring it up because I'm trying to recommend a strategy that will set you up for wealth building while buying your first house at the same time), you will be saving money on your monthly housing expenses from the rent of the other tenants(if you do it really well you may even cash flow a little).
