Ex-husband would have to sign off on this as well; (3) list the house and try and short sale it if you have enough time; (4) drag your ex back into state court on contempt charges for not abiding by the divorce decree [if he is broke then this won't really get you anywhere - but if he agreed to take the house and make the payment as part of the divorce order and didn't follow through then he is in contempt] the court could award you money to compensate you for the bad credit and any balance due after foreclosure [again, meaningless if he is broke]; (5) very last option - depending on your other circumstances, talk with a bankruptcy lawyer about filing.
