Would it be a wise investment to buy new windows for the property?

I have the windows in my apt open (gets kind of cold), but that does not seem to do much to control the smell that radiates upwards.

I'm pretty sure you don't need permits for paint, carpet, refinished hardwoods, tile flooring, windows, new int. doors, ceiling fans or light fixtures etc.Married life is agreeing just fine.

The 1031 does have a relatively short window to identify and close on a new property, are you familiar with any markets outside of CA?

Where are you in your window for doing so? 

During the identification window I did find a few potential properties, but none of them panned out.

However, when we start talking in the 100's of thousands, that's when I start advocating it (assuming you can find a new property in the identification window).

I have some money saved for this trip but not sure if it'll be enough for whole time (hence the broad window).
