For the exterior: we painted the trim on the outside, pressure washed the vinyl siding, cleaned the exterior really well, mulch, new mailbox.Interior: refinished wood floors, new carpet, new vinyl tile in kitchen and bathroom, new toilet, new kitchen cabinets, counter top, sink, painted the interior with a modern color scheme, added a door to the back porch.We shopped around for cheap contractors and cheap materials, even used materials in some cases.

Hi there,I had a quick question for you landlords out there.A year ago, I had a tenant who finished their lease and moved elsewhere.We had a final property walk-thru of the unit and found the beige carpet we newly installed in the bedroom prior to the tenant moving in, had 4 round red paint marks that was impossible to clean out.
