I think the abundance mindset is really about living intentionally whereas the scarcity mindset comes from deep seeded limiting beliefs.To answer the original question, I absolutely agree that one should live within their means and I absolutely think one should expand those means.

Big projects are: carpet, windows, blinds, deep cleaning.I’ve read multiple times about waiting until the house is completely rent ready before marketing, but I feel like I need to break that rule because of my rent deadline and the holiday season.Would you recommend marketing it with or without pictures with how it currently sits with a description about the pending updates?

I don't have a ton of experience with furnished 30+ day rentals, but I do know vacancy is higher so I would think deep and hard about going that route.

I only did the sump pump with pit. we placed it in the area where the most water seemed to be coming from. the pump is like 2 or 3 feet deep so it captures any water below the basement floor before it can rise up and penetrate the floor. cost me $1500.
