In my (limited) experience around PHX, when you go to sell it, if you as the owner did the work, any retail buyer is going to wet their pants, and ask for about 3 inspections, and a mountain of other documentation.

To specifically answer your questions, I don't think it is worth going to a brokerage to get your license and don't worry about your resume because it seems odd having to apply or submit a resume to a brokerage, unless like I previously mentioned it is a different type of salaried position.
