With a daughter facing the daunting costs associated with college, I have liquidated some investments and hope to flip three homes in 2015 and three more in 2016.  

I'm a Texas native, born and raised in Houston, but have lived in Hawaii and the Philippines in my college and early teaching careers.My husband and I bought what we discovered was a fixer-upper back in 2012 and we've been slowly updating and renovating.  

I currently own 2 college rental homes in Wisconsin (where I'm from), and one four unit apartment complex here in Kansas.

I graduated from college and got my broker license in 1980..  

I went to college at North Texas in Denton and got a business degree with emphasis in real estate.  

A rapidly growing and diversified employer market, fast growing college institutions and relatively low cost of living is drawing a number of individuals from around the country and around the world.

I graduated college from Purdue university back in 2011 and have been doing the nomad thing ever since traveling around the Midwest and taking odd-end jobs.

Although I have completed college courses and earned my MBA my income is mediocre .

Personally, I never bothered to learn much about those plans because my simple brain understands investing better if I actually have some money to invest.Another avenue to try would be to take the Real Estate License class at Durham Technical Community College.
