My current employment salary as an attorney is $65,000.00 without 401k; however, I do get a decent bonus for bringing in clients (a percentage of whatever the firm ultimately bills the  client).So here is my question to you folks who are/were similarly situated like me - what are some of the best options for me to get into real estate investing in light of my current financial situation?

This time I will have money for a down payment, I received a good signing bonus and have been saving money and I'll have enough for a 10 percent down payment, e-fund for my condo, e-fund for next house and then about 10 percent for repairs.It would be nice to leave a small trail of duplexes as I move around (hopefully just New England) in my remaining 16 years.
