I think your biggest challenge would be during your renovation phase once the deal is found - finding the right contractors, deciding on designs/upgrades that buyers are looking for etc.

I discovered this by trial and error--working away on floors but finding it is actually in the walls (so don't tear up subfloor if it still has lingering odor, but see below)....So my final step in the pet urine disaster is to TSP all the walls and ceilings, rinse, and then apply Kilz or equivalent sealer designed for odors.
