I do have the last foreclosure filing, but no current address in the doc, just his name.through people finders (paid) I think I have a phone number for what I assume is his sister, maybe daughter. but calls have not been responded to.I wish I could compel the rental agency but I've been round that road a few times.I'm considering getting a local RE lawyer on retainer as perhaps he can dig him up, since I know he was in ny court here recently over this.

If you don't get satisfaction, ask to speak to someone higher up.You can take them to small claims court if they dig in their heals.

Then there are "earthbag" homes built from bags of dirt stacked up with the joints  plastered with some kind of stuccco product--evidently you dig dirt out of your lot, put it in a bag and stack it, so your house shell is free.
