Just visited my first webinar.

Visit every property and go to all open houses.

So I suggest that the purpose behind most property marketing is to motivate people to take the time and make the effort to visit, see the place in person and, of course, to meet you, the agent or seller.  

For my day job I travel quite a bit and visit with acquisition officers of REITs. 

I have a really cool group of friends there I try to go visit (especially around snowboarding season for Whistler!).

But since my husband keeps running the numbers and saying he's "done" working (and/or he wants to work in Asia :)  ) we need a more considered plan.We're headed back to the US for an extended family visit and are considering purchasing another property in the Denver/northern Colorado area (mainly to help a family member). 

Does my realtor have a role in helping me set up a visit to a non-MLS listed home?

Here are the facts:My brother knows the owner who occasionally visits the house.  

The area is pretty trendy and is nice to drive through when I go visit.  

I get to write off visits back home to see family as an expense on my taxes because I'm also checking in on the properties I own.
