Are there any quick, simple and free softwares out there to develop general basic floor plans?   

Hello,I am working on the floor plan for an ADU and I have options of two roughly 10X12 BR or one very large BR with a huge closet.

My capex budget includes but not limited to: roof  25 year life span, floors 10 year life span, appliances and hot water heater 12 year life span, hvac  20 year life span, bath and kitchen remodel 20 year life span, etc.

Took possession on 1/23/2020, used the first week to have the entire house painted (ceilings, trim, doors, walls) and floors cleaned.

I am thinking about joining two apartments on one side as one unit (two floors).
