Reminds me of the software I used when I was a leasing agent. 

@Christopher Smith, I emailed to individuals whose email address I had collected from locals here on BP, just 5 have responded, but I will resend reminders tonight because it has been a busy few days for everyone with the holiday and all. 

@Julie Kern Thanks for reminding me, I like his general idea of investing in four classes of mutual funds with long successful track records, but I don't like the idea of paying significant loads either front or back.  

Attributing the sky high prices to a shortage of houses to me reminds me of the way people think high rents are the reason for the homeless epidemic.

Simple as that.A simple reminder what your price range and cash position are should get the buyer agent back on track, with a supplemental reminder that the price range is offer price, not asking price.

At one point, it did get so far that I had to politely remind the tenant to review the lease to see what they agreed to - thankfully it hasn't escalated further.

But when they do start to "warn you", you have to remind yourself that it's only done because they care about your well-being.At the same time you're looking for information from someone who is not themselves an investor.

I was hoping for a bit more interaction on this thread and then my wife reminded me that I didn't even have the common courtesy to ask for another point of view or as questions based on my analysis.Any other views on Gastonia out there?
