When you talk about liability you can offset that by making sure you have a good Insurance policy and close the loan in an LLC.LLC protects you and your assets from lawsuits and any litigation from any and all accidents/injuries.

While you can't take advantage of the STR loophole if you're house hacking, you cannot have an STR at all in Denver unless it's your primary residence so it's a bit of a catch 22! 

However, given the current home prices and mortgage rates in areas like Natick and Framingham, I’m uncertain if rental income will cover costs like PMI or if these areas offer good potential for appreciation and equity growth.Any suggestions on areas that meet the 1% rent rule or have strong appreciation potential would be greatly appreciated!
