I was an active real estate agent from 99-2006 under century 21 in Middlesex County NJ and then transitioned to Remax Central after that i went to referral agent status until 2011.

This property had 4 bedrooms and 5 bathroom but we turned it into 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and a caretaker's apartment for the couple who will be cooking for the guests, taking care of the property, and helping plan excursions for our guests.We will be all in about 1.1 million and we are estimated to bring in about 15k a month in bookings and more in additional services.

Worse yet guests may not read the full description and come unprepared.

Of course the gold standard with house hacking is to live for free but there's so many more facets than that!

First thing that really comes to mind to me is the true status of the tenants.

That's why I don't get the complete lack of weekly guests when it's full every weekend.

God forbid if something happened while a guest was staying at our condo, I wanted to create some separation.
