This almost always means that he checking account holder has had numerous insufficient funds, deposited bogus checks, etc., and the bank , as a consequence is placing 10 day holds on their deposited checks.

Buying that specific loan is of course a long shot, but.....as it is now you'd have to foreclose on the original owner/mortgagee and the current owner since they have an interest in the property, and of course any other lien holders, HOA, etc..
