What do people generally do in these cases?

I'm guessing I can't be the only one...How do people find comfort in knowing the interest payments, over time, could even exceed the original value of the loan?

theres is a quarterly event in downtown okc called The Room its at umb bank & its  all real estate people in the room i think the next one is july 

The lender I spoke with in the new area said our DTI is the biggest issue, and that selling one of the properties would solve that problem, but selling one house hack for another of a similar price/cash flow isn't something I want to do.Still fairly new to REI so any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

If you can solve a problem, that no on else has done yet, then go for it.

Look for mentors by reaching out to people in the real estate field, at local gatherings, REI groups, and on Bigger Pockets forums.

I know most people wait to hear everyone else talking about an area before they will believe in it.

HI Delaney, a lot of people will say to be carful in the Hilltop and South Linden areas of Columbus because of crime and other negative variables.

buying some random property you've never seen, because someone who stands to make money off it tells you it's a deal, and then trusting it to people you've never met?
