you can probably get it insured through citizens. ( if you close the claim, the likelihood of reopening is zero)

I'm curious what your thoughts are on the outlook for senior housing. 

This was done to protect senior citizens on fixed incomes from being forced to sell their homes due to unaffordable property tax increases.Since the passing of this amendment, all properties in Michigan have two property tax values associated with them:State Equalized Value (SEV): supposedly equal to 50% of the market value of a property, not based on recent sales price.Taxable Value: the SEV annually capped as long as there is not a transfer of ownership.City Assessors are charged with determining how much property values have changed each year.

You would be a junior agent so out of 100k commission maybe 50k goes to company. 3 people on a team the senior person out of remaining 50k might get 26k, middle broker 16k, junior broker 8k.As you can see by the splits you would have to do 12 transactions to my 1 for the same money.

That might make it a little harder for you if that is the case but if you are a US citizen you can certainly do this.

We also have a program internally with a Transaction Coordinator who was a senior officer with the Federal Reserve.

This current property I'm trying to purchase has 6 beds, will be perfect for another residential independent senior living property after I've moved out and should bring in about 36k monthly before expenses.
