I have put out marker flags to show the approximate property lines and added a For Sale sign to the front which can be seen from the main road. 

Having someone to consult with as you are getting started can save a tremendous amount of headaches down the road. 

It's very easy to get off track and not know it until you're hundreds of transactions down the road... then you have to pay out the nose for someone to go back and forensically audit your bad habits, fix it, and move forward from there.

The roads you could take from here are endless, and it's hard to determine which one is best suited for you.

They would also love to hear that you can bring them additional business down the road as well.

Its a long and fun road ahead. 

Otherwise, you will find yourself with a hopeless fix years down the road when everyone else in the neighbourhood's investments are now in good condition. 

Further down the road, I plan to purchase increasingly larger commercial properties as well as starting a couple of side businesses.We are ultimately looking for financial freedom and to be able to pass on something big that could impact our family for generations to come.  

It's a mixed use, 2 commercial units (storefront), 5 apartments (3x2/1, 2x1/1), one "weird" commercial unit in the basement that is quite a large space but has no road frontage.
