For example, while very popular south of the border, it's typically detrimental to hold property in a corporation up here particularly from a tax perspective.

I'm trying to jump into the multi family market in south Florida.

SITUATION: I've got my eye on a vacant lot in South Florida on which I'd like to build a custom/spec home (owner/occupant).  

I Have been investing in new sfr rentals in south forsyth (lambert hs cluster) from 2010-2013 and now searching for deals in North.

I have only bought in Northwest Indiana cause that's where my husband is from but we also reside in the South Loop in Chicago and want to start flipping in Illinois but don't have a great realtor in Illinois either.

I have not seen any duplexes in this area going for 40k.In fact the ones just off emerson to the south, have been going for 60-70k and seem to have gone fast, all the ones i see listed that are similar are in the 65k-70k range.

Im at 20th and South. 

IDOT made a lot of improvements to IL-59 between Plainfield and I-55, though downtown Plainfield remains a speed-bump on that highway as does the I-30 junction just south of downtown Plainfield.
