I rarely used a GC for buy/repair, I just found good contractors as I needed them. 

The difference in value can be substantial but the only real way to know is to simultaneously list a property as a combined sale and as separate sales and be careful about what offers are accepted as its the last chance to choose one method.

Combine the two and you could be in for a world of hurt.I think these are great things for people to keep in mind regarding Section 8.

We rarely/never have to reference our lease. 

I rarely see any wholesale deals around there too as they just go too fast. 

Can I combine these somehow so that I'm not paying for 2 inspections?

If multiple properties they may need to be aggregated to be looked at together as a combined total. 

Something so rare, that it's not worth planning for.
