There are numerous of us in the greatest country ever who are millionaires next door.

Every month, they invite a national guru to come, teach, and sell (at a discount and with some guarantees), but they're not attached to any one of them.  

We've found National Bank to be very investor-friendly; 20% downpayments and after a year if you show no rental income loss on your tax return they don't consider that mortgage payment in your debt to income ratio.

I have also seen numerous times where one's assertions are challenged with a request to substantiate their claim with some real numbers.

One thing you will find is that even if you do not have a 1:1 mentor, there are numerous subgroups out there which include members with a variety of experiences and they can act as a mutually supporting mastermind group.Best Regards,Scott Price
