You could setup your own 401k plan with a company you setup and rollover the funds into that 401k, provided you both are employees of that company, but the funds would still be separate accounts within the 401k.

kids collage for kids and if your self employed health insurance is a biggee.. we have a few employees so mine is cheaper ( group plan) but its still over 2k a month for us right now until we can get on medicare and I am not sure if I would even use medicare have not looked at it depth.. and then, I think at some age in the not to distant future we can get our SSI in full for us that's, from the letters I get a little over 6k a month tax free..
