Also, I'm sure that (particularly in the day and age that we're in) where so many people are hearing on the news that so many people are suing so many other people (some legitimately and some not legitimately), I wonder if the people who file frivolous lawsuits actually think about your "ceiling".  

Often the venue will be filled with people standing room only yet only 10-12 will actually bid & some on many.

Profits from such businesses are taxed high and cannot be "written off" or otherwise magically shielded from taxes by any legitimate approach.

I refuse to give into extortion and it is going to be up to the jury to decide whether my tenants demands are legitimate. 

@Nick AskewI own LTRs in Cincinnati and STRs elsewhere but I think Cincinnati has enough events to attract STR/MTR guests.I have lived on both KY and Ohio sides of Cincinnati and we have about 9- 10 concert venues within maybe 4 -6 square miles.

It is a very legitimate question to the GP group as a whole.

The amount of legitimate responses here is very worrisome.
