So no harm in contacting the bank, although you will need to identify the servicing agent for the property since it is Freddie Mac owned.You won't get this any cheaper dealing direct with the bank IMO, since the bank already has assigned it to an agent (very likely the bank isn't going to sell it directly to anybody once they engage an agent).As with all REO properties, ALL CASH offers with no financing contingency is the best advantage you can give yourself here.
